It takes action to overcome a lack of faith.

It's lack of faith that makes people afraid of meeting challenges, and I believed in myself. -Muhammed Ali

It takes faith to take action, it takes action to show faith. As Muhammed Ali stated it can be the lack of faith in ourselves that prevents us from taking the actions needed to break through the challenges in front of us. So how do we build our faith to overcome a challenge?

A lack of belief in ourself can cause us to freeze up and take no action. Therefore we never move forward to reach our potential.

In order to overcome a lack of faith you have to take action.

Jut take one step forward, a small baby step, whatever you can do. Look at what is right in front of you - that low hanging fruit. As you start slow and build momentum a magic thing happens, you start to feel confident and that momentum will take you further. Sometimes we all can think to big, too far out, when what we need to do is get good first.

When you start to experience some momentum your confidence will start to build and your faith will grow. It is from the actions you take, even when you don't feel like it, that will create enough momentum to see you through your fears, to overcome your obstacles, to reach that greater purpose.

So next time you are faced with a major challenge have faith, that by taking one step, you will be on the right path to building the belief in yourself that ultimately will set you on the path to conquer any challenge you will face.

When you're stuck, ask yourself, "what is the one thing I can do now to progress forward?" It starts with one step - to move forward, to build confidence to reach your potential.
